Harry P. Erba, MD, PhD

Harry P. Erba, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. He is also an Attending Physician with the University of Michigan Health Systems.

After receiving his bachelor's of science from Yale University in New Haven, CT, Dr. Erba earned his medical doctorate and PhD in biophysics from the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA. He then completed his residency, a clinical fellowship in medicine, and a research fellowship in medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.

Dr. Erba is the principal investigator on several clinical trials and research projects, and has authored numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, and abstracts. He is an associate member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, as well as an executive officer of the Southwest Oncology Group and a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Practice Guideliness Committees for acute myeloid leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
